Our Calibration Services are accomplished utilizing measurement standards which
have a known accuracy traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and
are completed in conjunction with the National Standard, ANSI Standard Z540, Part 1.
The physical tasks are completed in accordance with QSI's written Standard Operating
Procedures. Calibration Certificates with listings of both "as found' and "as
left" test and standard instrument readings are provided as part of this service. All
documents are serially numbered for quality assurance and compliance with ISO 9000
efforts. Copies of the appropriate N.I.S.T. Traceability Certificates are supplied in the
package to complete the traceability loop. Recommendations for repair or replacement of
defective instruments are provided as well.
Instrumentation System Outlines and Instrumentation Components Inventories are assembled
by type of processing equipment and major Facilities Sections. This documentation is
confirmed and updated with each subsequent visit, for no additional charge. Completed
copies of these documents are forwarded to the customer contact, with the Service Visit
Summary Reports, along with the Calibration Certificates.
All documentation for these services are incorporated into document binders that are
labeled for easy access. This binder is brought on site by the technician and the
documents are in their completed state and presented to the client prior to the departure
of our technician from the client facility.
Our Preventive Maintenance Services are completed by our qualified personnel who perform
Mechanical Preventive Maintenance inspections of client equipment utilizing task specific
checklists and in accordance with QSI's written Standard Operating Procedures.
Our technicians will also perform minor mechanical repairs of the equipment during their
service visit.
Included as part of the service is the documentation of the Mechanical Preventive
Maintenance inspection (completed checklist) as well as documentation of all discovered
deficiencies (Service Visit Summary Reports) for the equipment under service contracts. We
will provide recommendations for repairs should the customer request this assistance.
As a standard part of the service visit our personnel perform complete operational test
runs, verify logic sequencing, safety and product quality interlocks of the equipment
serviced. Any required minor repairs or repairs will be accomplished as time and spare
parts permit. The Customer is then advised of all outstanding deficiencies and repair
recommendations as part of the normal documentation package. This provides you with the
most thorough and regimented Preventive Maintenance Program on the market.
